Max Verstappen Dominates at Suzuka: Recap of the Japanese Grand Prix and Current World Championship Standings

Suzuka: Red Bull Racing’s Dutch driver Max Verstappen, who is also the current world champion, continues to dominate the Formula One Grand Prix Carota. Verstappen won the Japanese Grand Prix held at the Suzuka International Racing Circuit.

Verstappen overtook McLaren Mercedes’ Lando Norris to second place. McLaren’s own Oscar Piastri finished third and Ferrari’s Chas Le Clerc in fourth.

Verstappen leads the world championship with 400 points. Co-driver Sergio Perez is second with 223 points. Verstappen can retain his world title with the Qatar Grand Prix on October 8.
