Maxime Landry and Annie Blanchard were on a promotional day in Gatineau “as in time” for their new album, which has been at the top of the English-language sales charts in Quebec for four weeks now. Their tribute record to “Kenny and Dolly”, as they affectionately call them, Jolene and The Gambler is designed primarily for country lovers, but the vocal skill of the performers who revisit these great classics manages splendidly to please everyone while being at the height of their idols.
