The mayor of Al-Ghobeiry, Maan Al-Khalil, tweeted, on his Twitter account, writing: “Long live civil peace and coexistence.”

And he continued, “The official in the forces, Ibrahim Al-Saqr, calls for a boycott of the “Al-Laqis Restaurant” in Zahle for not selling alcoholic beverages: “It is striking our culture.”

He added, “It is well known that someone can prevent you from selling an item for administrative, legal or health reasons. Now, he wants to force someone to sell the item he wants.”
