Media: Tesla, Amazon and Samsung Oppose NVIDIA and Arm Deal | news

Tesla, Samsung and Amazon have turned to US authorities to protest NVIDIA’s purchase of Arm. This was reported by The Telegraph portal with reference to its own sources.

Opponents of the deal believe that it significantly threatens the competition that has developed in the electronics market over the years. The Telegraph solicited comments from executives at Tesla, Samsung, and Amazon. The electric car manufacturer did not respond to the publication’s request; the rest refused to comment on this information.

NVIDIA has announced a desire to acquire Arm for $ 40 billion in 2020. In order for the deal to take place, it must be approved by American, Chinese, European and British regulators. The US is expected to provide its response in September, and the British authorities previously said the merger was “serious concerns.” The final answer should be given by the Minister of Digital Technologies Oliver Dowden.
