In this regard, Aníbal Tortoriello, deputy of the Pro (Río Negro), highlighted: “Without a doubt, medical cannabis has a very broad and important application.” In addition, he proposes that it should be “regulated or audited by the State so that it is not distorted.”
In relation to the various meetings that the deputies are holding to work on the bill, Ricardo Herrera, deputy of the Frente de Todos (La Rioja) indicated: “I think it is a strong bet.”
In this sense, he highlighted the importance of obtaining the registration that the province of La Rioja had. “The head of INASE gave the genetic registration produced in our department, that is positive because from that moment on, by having a registration, we can make genetics, managing to sell to different jurisdictions in our country,” he said.
This, indicated the Riojan legislator, “was a serious impediment to importing cannabis seed and today we are producing it in our province.”
