: Megastar Shah Rukh Khan congratulates Karan Johar on his silver jubilee following entering the field of directing. The greeting was during the release of the teaser of Karan’s new film ‘Rocky Aar Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
“25 years in the system, you have come a long way. Your father and famous producer Yash Johar would have been very happy now if he was alive…’ Khan wrote on Twitter.
Karan’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ came in 1998 with Shahrukh as the lead. Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001), Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006) and My Name Is Khan (2010) were also taken over by the audience.
Karan returned to the directorial field following a five-year hiatus from 2016’s ‘Yeh Dil Hai Mushkil’. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will play Rocky and Rani in the new film.
