As Mr. Melas said: “it is a simple provocation. We have never been hooded. We say it directly. We stand by the workers. I was an eyewitness, there was no verbal attack either. Why don’t we go out and tell them by name who it was, they work in the municipality and they know us. There was no episode, not even a verbal one.”
When questioned, Mr. Melas also commented on the announcement issued by the faction of Kostas Svolis, saying: “the opposition does nothing but provoke the municipal authority, this is what he does in the municipal council.”
