“Mental health, pregnancy and parenthood”: benchmarks to support future and new parents

During pregnancy, the mental health of future parents can be weakened. The same following the birth of the child. How do you know if these ups and downs are a normal part of the transition to parenthood? Or are they a sign that you should speak to a health professional? The new brochure published by Psycom – a national public resource, for the Mental Health becomes everyone’s business – offers some pointers on this subject. It was carried out as part of the PATH or “PerinAtal menTal Health” project, in partnership with the WHO Collaborating Center (WHOCC) of EPSM Lille Métropole.
