Jeddah: Football legend Lionel Messi arrived in Saudi Arabia to visit the historic site of Jeddah. The visit was accompanied by Haifa Bint Mohammed Alu Saud, Minister of State for Tourism Executive and Strategic Affairs. Messi, who has been appointed Saudi Tourism Ambassador, arrived in Jeddah with friends to spend the holidays. He will also participate in the Jeddah Season Program and the Red Sea Exploration. Haifa bint Mohammed wrote on the official Twitter handle that the history and art of the ancient city of Jeddah impressed the guests. Messi and his friends posted a picture of themselves visiting the historic site. “Jeddah and its people impressed visitors at first sight,” the post said.
