Vienna – Works meetings in the metalworking industry will start on Monday following collective bargaining negotiations failed in the third round last Friday. The talks might hardly have been more bumpy: first, employer representatives canceled the negotiations at short notice due to anonymous threats, and then the talks that were resumed followingwards were broken off following a short time without any results. The positions were too far apart.
