The deputy prosecutor of the Public Ministry of the state of Nuevo León (Mexico), Luis Enrique Orozco, who investigates the case of the death of Debanhi Escobarreported that they presented videos to their parents in which the young woman can be seen when she was walking inside the facilities of the Nueva Castilla motel.
The recordings contradict the first version of the property owner who stated that there were no images of the 18-year-old teenager.
Debanhi left the fifth, the taxi took her to the Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo highway where she got off, because, according to her father Mario Escobar, she was the victim of sexual harassment by the driver. There is a recording that shows that the young woman did pass in front of the Alcosa company, which is in the possession of the Prosecutor’s Office.

The new videos obtained from the Nueva Castilla motel show that Debanhi continued walking alone, leaning on the fences of the companies that are next to the motel. Apparently it was dark and she was using the fences to guide herself.
He continued until he ran into the fence of the Nueva Castilla motel and eventually reached the edge of the restaurant on the same premises.
Debanhi followed the circular shape of the restaurant fence and entered the pool area. He approached one of the corners and realized that the place was closed. He then advanced to the area of the cistern.

The recording that the Prosecutor’s Office will present and would show that Debanhi entered and walked alone in the pool area, heading to the cistern area, suggests that she may have fallen, which would reinforce the theory of an accident.
The official explained that the owner of the motel is under investigation, since he falsified his statements, in addition to the fact that the motel remains insured until the investigation is over.
In a dialogue with INFO 7, the deputy prosecutor recounted: “In the videos, preliminary, what can be observed is that at least on April 9, a person with the characteristics of Debanhi —I am referring specifically to his complexion, height and clothing – enter the building alone.

“You can even see her peeking out of the restaurant door, peeking out alone, without anyone accompanying her, chasing her, stalking her or following her. Also at another time he is seen walking from one side to the other and finally he is seen moving parallel to the fence that delimits this property with the highway to Laredo in the same direction in which the cisterns are located, ”she added. .
In statements to the local press, Orozco said that this Monday, April 25, the results of the scientific tests that were carried out on the body of the adolescent would be available.
He also pointed out that, at the moment, none of the images shows that the young woman has been a victim of harassment, but the review of all the videos has not yet been completed.

The INFO7 chain had access to the new videos that the Nuevo León State Prosecutor’s Office has in its possession from the security cameras of the Nueva Castilla motel. The audiovisual material shows the route that might have Debanhi Escobar around the area of the cistern where his body was found.
It is worth mentioning that originally the motel workers deceived the Prosecutor’s Office, since they asserted that they had not recorded; however, the researchers found that there are videos.
Debanhi Escobar’s father assured that his daughter’s body was subjected to three autopsies before her burial, some requested by him through external experts.
“This is a murder, it was a kidnapping and a murder by bad people, whom we have not harmed, we have never harmed anyone,” Mario Escobar told journalist Azucena Uresti.
