Microsoft held a corporate party with Sting for top managers, and then fired 10 thousand ordinary employees, media write

The other day, many departments of the technology giant underwent massive layoffs, following which thousands of people lost their jobs.

As The Wall Street Journal reporters managed to find out, Microsoft recently held a corporate event for senior management, at which British rock musician Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, better known as Sting, sang and played the guitar. The party was held in a closed format at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

It is noted that Sting comes only to those who are ready to pay him at least 500 thousand US dollars. How much the musician received for a private performance in front of 50 leaders of the technology giant is unknown.

A few days ago, Microsoft laid off regarding 10,000 employees, citing a sluggish economy and an attempt to cut costs.
