A representative of the headquarters of the operation to liberate the Azovstal plant said that the fighters who are on the territory of the enterprise offered to exchange civilians there for medicines and food.

According to him, the Russian military has to maintain contacts with fighters from the Azov battalion (recognized as an extremist organization and banned in Russia) and representatives of the SBU due to the fact that civilians are on the territory of the plant.

“At the next negotiations, they offered us to exchange civilians for food and medicine. Their conditions: fifteen people per ton of food and medicine. They also said that now they will only exchange people, they will not let go, ”said a representative of the headquarters.
