Kiev: Russia has the upper hand in Ukraine, despite the US and its allies providing arms on the one hand. The last to fall was Severodonetsk, a city occupied by Ukraine in the eastern region. Ukraine withdrew all troops stationed in the city in resistance.
Lisichansk, the only city still on the defensive, is on the verge of collapse at any moment. With this, most of the border areas came under Russian control.
Russia has also launched heavy attacks in the north and west of the country. Russia has reportedly launched a military offensive from Belarus.
