Millions for consulting services in hospitals: Court of Auditors criticizes the award of contracts

The Kepler University Hospital (KUK) and its parent company, the state-owned health holding (OÖG), spent 8.8 million euros on external consulting services in the years 2019 up to and including 2021. In an initiative audit, the State Audit Office (LRH) took a closer look at these expenses and, in its current report, judged not the amount of expenses as a problem, but the type of contract award.
