Ministry of Health Uniform Regulations: Dress Code Guidelines for Medical Staff in Facilities

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of Health announced regulations on uniforms in the workplace for medical staff in the Ministry’s facilities.

The Ministry explained that the controls are:

• The employee must be well groomed, have a decent appearance and suit public taste

• Avoid wearing nightgowns, shorts for men, or inappropriate clothing with offensive connotations or graphics, and do not wear chains or slogans.

• Refrain from strange hairstyles

• Commitment to wearing a head covering for women, provided that it is opaque and worn throughout the work period

• Dress should be modest and non-transparent for women, and tight, open or short clothes are prohibited so that their length is not less than the heel of the foot.

• Do not exaggerate in wearing cosmetics, manicure, nail polish, perfumes, and the like

• The medical coat should be wide and long to the knee

– The uniform required according to the job classification must be adhered to

• It is prohibited to wear formal work clothes in public places during breaks and outside working hours
