A pensioner from the Leningrad region was found alive in the forest following eight days of searching, Fontanka reported on September 24 in LisaAlert. Search engines call this a miracle.

As follows from the information on the website of the search and rescue team, 73-year-old Irina Borisovna disappeared last Sunday, September 17. In the morning I went to pick mushrooms in the Priozersky district of the Leningrad region. On the night of the disappearance there was a heavy rainfall, bears were seen in the forest, and it was cold at night.

Despite everything, they searched for the pensioner with all available forces, “LizaAlert”, “Extremum”, “Response”, PSO Priozersky, VPSO “Angels” worked, they lifted a helicopter over the forest, drones with and without a thermal imager. And in the end they found him alive.

As Fontanka was told in LisaAlert, on the morning of September 24, a group of the detachment went into the forest together with a local resident – they came across a pensioner.

“She didn’t even lie down, but sat. Conscious. For a person who spent a week in the forest, she is simply in fantastic shape – sociable, talking,” they told Fontanka in LisaAlert.
