“Miss Saigon” in the Raimund Theater as an invasion of the trivial – stage

It is not the case that sensitive topics cannot be dealt with in a dignified manner using musical means. “Cabaret” or “Anatevka” are evidence of a careful interlocking of inspired high-class music and the realistic depiction of oppressive political and social conditions. at “Miss Saigon” in the Raimund Theater, however, all attempts at subtlety are mercilessly lost in the revue and helicopter noise.
