Dhaka: Bangladeshi actress Raima Islam Shimu, 45, who went missing a few days ago, has been found dead. Police said the body was found in a sack. The body was found near the Hazratpur Bridge near Dhaka.
According to the locals, the police reached the spot and conducted an inspection.
A few days ago, the relatives complained to the police that they might not see Raima. Raima’s husband Shakhawat Ali Nobel was arrested. According to the police, he has admitted that he was the one who killed the actress.
Police said the body was transferred to a medical college for examination.
Raima made her film debut in 1998 with Berthaman. Later she acted in more than 25 films. Apart from movies, she has also acted in TV movies.
