2023-11-30 15:04:40

The Ministry of Social Affairs launched a mobile clinic providing reproductive and sexual health services in Sour Girls’ Compound (one of the shelters for displaced Lebanese) in partnership with the Syndicate of Social Work Specialists in Lebanon, with support from the United Nations Population Fund and funding from Canada.

A specialized team provided medical services to a group of women, in addition to an awareness session on the subject for 20 women and teenagers. They were also given a bag containing personal supplies for women, the “Dignity Kit.” The mobile clinic will continue its tour of shelter centers and some neighborhoods of Tyre.
