Lahore ∙ Mobs have destroyed Christian churches in Faisalabad’s Jaranwala district, accusing them of blasphemy. The Salvation Army Church, United Presbyterian Church, Allied Federation Church and Shehrunwala Church were demolished. The house of Imran Bhatti, accused of blasphemy, was also demolished.

Punjab provincial police chief Usman Anwar informed that people have been evacuated from the place of violence and peace talks are being held by calling the representatives of both sides.
