Montreal Canadiens defenseman Mike Matheson missed the preseason game once morest the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday.

The veteran was supposed to line up for the Habs, but his name was scratched a few minutes before the warm-up period. He was replaced by Kaiden Guhle in the lineup.
