The Montreal Canadiens have placed defenseman Nicolas Beaudin on unconditional waivers with the aim of terminating his contract, following a mutual agreement.
Former first round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2018, the Châteauguay athlete played 16 games this season with the Laval Rocket, obtaining six assists.
He played 22 career games in the NHL with Chicago. He scored twice and added four assists to his record. His last game in the Bettman circuit dates back to the 2021-22 season.
