Montreal Canadiens prospect Lane Hutson continued to shine the red light at the start of the season. The defenseman scored a goal in Boston University’s 3-2 win over University of Massachusetts Lowell on Friday.
The 2022 second-round pick’s seventh goal of the season made it 3-1 Boston University in the third period. During a power play, Hutson broke free at the top of the slot and beat the goalie with a good shot.
The 19-year-old defender is having an excellent streak with five goals in his last three games. He recorded a hat trick once morest North Dakota on November 4. Hutson now has 10 points in eight games this season.
Other scorers in the game for Boston University were Ryan Greene and Quinn Hutson.
The two teams will meet once more on Saturday for another clash.
