Montreal’s Signaling Blunder Sparks Social Media Ridicule: Arrows Painted in Wrong Direction on Henri-Bourassa Boulevard

A signaling error in Montreal sparked ridicule on social networks on Sunday.

Several Internet users shared a photo taken at the corner of Henri-Bourassa Boulevard and Lajeunesse Street, in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough, where we can see that arrows have been painted in the wrong direction on the roadway.

In fact, two arrows located in the lane completely on the left invite motorists to turn right.

Cones have been installed near the arrows to avoid causing confusion among road users.
