Around 2,400 passengers have mobilized from the Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport, during these first two weeks of opening commercial flights at this air terminal, covering the international destinations of Santo Domingo, Cancun and Panama.
The Maiquetía air terminal resumes its commercial activities with up to three inter-daily flights and with weekly frequencies, according to the flight itinerary offered by the airlines, which operate in the country’s main airport.
Airlines such as Conviasa and Laser incorporated the Maiquetía-Panama route, with one or two flights a week, as well as the Turkishsairline airline that made its first commercial flight Maiquetía-Istanbul last Monday, with 100 passengers.
