More than 2,000 jobs were created in the mining sector between 2020 and 2021. At least that is what the Prime Minister, Amadou Ba, said in a post published on his Facebook page.
“This shows the dynamism of this industry which is the subject of the 7th International Exhibition, the launch of which I chaired today, in the name of His Excellency President Mr. Macky SALL,” adds Amadou Ba.

According to him, “the growth of the mining sector must imperatively generate training opportunities, jobs for young people and take into account the well-being of populations and the protection of the environment. » “It will be supported by a framework of good governance accessible to every Senegalese citizen,” concludes the Prime Minister.
