More than 32,000 participants in ÖGB demos against inflation – domestic

Vienna – Before the autumn wage round starts next week, the ÖGB mobilized nationwide large-scale demonstrations once morest inflation today. According to trade union information, a total of 32,600 people took part in the protest marches, which were held in all federal states, in inclement weather. By far the largest demonstration was the one in Vienna from the Schweizer Garten to Karlsplatz, which was attended by around 20,000 people. According to the organizers, the second largest was in Salzburg with over 2,000 participants.
