“Moroccan UCITS Market Update: Net Assets Reach 518.6 Billion Dirhams, with Strong Performances in Short-Term Bonds and Money Market”

The net assets under management of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) stood at more than 518.6 billion dirhams (MMDH) as of May 12, up 3.53% year-on-year.

According to weekly statistics from the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC), OCT UCITS (Short Term Bonds) and money market UCITS posted the best annual variations with +51.34% and +19.12% respectively, while contractual UCITS showed the largest drop (-18.04%).

In monthly variation, CT UCITS remain in first position with a change of +3.37%, unlike contractual UCITS which recorded the strongest decline with -2.75%.

The number of active UCITS reached 567 funds during the same period.
