The Kingdom of Morocco is closely following the evolution of the situation in the Gabonese Republic, said Wednesday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad.
“The Kingdom of Morocco stresses the importance of preserving the stability of this brotherly country and the tranquility of its population,” the ministry said in a statement.
And the ministry specified that “Morocco has confidence in the wisdom of the Gabonese nation, of its active forces and of its national institutions, to move forward towards a perspective allowing it to act in the higher interests of the country, to safeguard the achievements achieved and to respond to the aspirations of the brotherly Gabonese people”.
