We continue to bring you news regarding Mortal Kombat. After the first official teaser of the new installment for the 30th anniversary of the series and a second official teaser, a rumor arose that it would be a reboot for Nintendo Switch and not a new installment as such. Yesterday the co-creator shared a teaser and now we have the official confirmation.

It seems that Mortal Kombat 1 is released September 19 and will be released on Nintendo Switch. We leave you with the trailer:

As you can see, the announced game is un reboot with reinvented characters. The return of Liu Kang, Kitana, Mileena, Raiden, Kung Lao, Scorpion, Sub Zero and Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat has been confirmed.

Standard prints are priced at $69.99. The premium editions, which cost $109.99, include early access on September 14, 2023, 1,250 Dragon Krystals coins, and a Kombat Pack with six playable characters, five Kameo characters, and a Jean-Claude Van Damme version of Johnny Cage. The $249.99 Kollector’s Edition, available only for PS5 and Xbox Series X, includes everything from the Premium version, a Liu Kang skin, art prints, a steel case, a 16.5-inch Liu Kang figure, and 1,450 Dragon Additional crystals. For now there are no images of these editions.
