Moscow Launches Nighttime Missile Strike on Maritime Drone Facilities near Odessa: Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, July 23 (Xinhua) — Russian forces launched a nighttime missile strike on facilities that produce and prepare maritime drones near the Ukrainian city of Odessa, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

“Last night, the Russian armed forces launched a combined strike with high-precision, long-range sea-to-ground and air-to-ground weapons on facilities where terrorist acts once morest Russia were being prepared using maritime drones, as well as on places where they were produced near the city of Odessa,” he said.

Foreign mercenaries were seen at the targeted locations, he added.

All selected targets were destroyed, according to the ministry. END
