A group of international scientists has created the most comprehensive cell atlas of the human brain to date. Mapping the genetic, cellular and structural structure of our thinking apparatus enables a deeper understanding of both the basics of brain functions and the reasons why malfunctions may occur in the brain. The new findings also pave the way for a new generation of precise therapies for people with mental disorders and other brain diseases.
