Most European stock indices rose by the end of the week’s trading

Most European stock indices recorded a positive performance by the end of trading today, Friday, as follows:

  • The Stoxx 600 Index is up 0.25%.
  • The German DAX index is the highest gainer among European stocks by the end of trading, by up to 0.5%.
  • Britain’s FTSE 100 index is up by only 0.1%.
  • The French CAC index gained 0.35%.
  • The Italian MIB Index rose by 0.3%.
  • The Spanish index IBEX violates all European stocks, falling by regarding 0.4%.

It should be noted that the European stock indices closed lower for the second session in a row, during yesterday’s trading, Thursday, following the company’s results came in below expectations, and the stocks of auto manufacturers fell, following weak quarterly results from the American company, Tesla, for the electric car industry.

The Stoxx 600 index of European shares fell by 0.2%, with Nordic Semiconductor falling 17.6%, bottoming out following the chip company’s sales came in below expectations in the first quarter. The automakers stock index also fell 3.7 percent, its biggest one-day loss in five months.
