Marc Marquez celebrates his first MotoGP victory in almost three years. Brother Alex Marquez collides with world champion Francesco Bagnaia.

A manoeuvre by brother Alex Marquez (Ducati) caused a stir when he collided with world champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) in the main race. Bagnaia had to be examined in the medical centre. The defending champion was trapped under the motorcycle when he fell. According to the first examinations at the race track in Motorland Aragon, the 27-year-old Italian did not suffer any serious injuries.

Jorge Martin once again took the lead in the overall standings at the twelfth race weekend of the current season. World Championship rival Bagnaia lost many points due to the crash on Sunday and ninth place in the sprint on Saturday and is 23 points behind ahead of his home race in Misano next weekend.
