The president of PASOK – Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, fired a shot at the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in the wake of the resignations of Bratakos and Papastavros.
Coming to the joint meeting of the Political Council and the Parliamentary Group of PASOK – Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis stated that with the initiative he took for a motion of no confidence, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis lost two of his closest collaborators.
In addition, Mr. Androulakis accused the prime minister of “not answering the three questions which led us to the motion of no confidence, which was the last straw in the crime of Tempi”.
The statement of the president of PASOK – Movement for Change before the start of the meeting of the Political Council and the Parliamentary Group:
“To the lingering question “if there is an opposition”, PASOK answered yesterday: Yes, there is an opposition and it brings results when it operates seriously and solidly, without communication shows.
With the initiative I took for a motion of no confidence, Mr. Mitsotakis lost two of his closest associates, proving that the core of corruption is inside the Maximos Palace.
Of course, he didn’t answer the three questions that led us to the motion of no confidence, which was the last straw in the Tempe crime.
I repeat them:
Who, at the time when we lost 57 of our fellow human beings, had the priority to get the dialogues in question before the justice and the police, to steal them and then give them to a friendly mass media to manipulate public opinion?
This rogue hand, we must find out who it is.
Therefore, since Mr. Mitsotakis did not answer, I will be at the Areopagus on Monday morning. Why there must be an investigation, plenty of light, and the Greek people to know the truth.
Who are the ones who had the priority that night, to manipulate public opinion. They are dangerous and must be brought to justice.
To a journalist’s question regarding the minimum wage, Mr. Androulakis noted:
The minimum wage should have been raised a long time ago.
But nominal growth does not address accuracy and inequality because, quite simply, inflation runs rampant.
So when the minimum wage has increased in recent years by 20% but food inflation by 32%, you understand that we have to fight precision, cartels and those who do not allow through their speculation and greed to escalate prices.
The New Democracy plays pre-election communication games on this top issue as well.”
