With the aim of promoting and enhancing youth and women’s football and being an entity with a permanent collaborative spirit, the Municipality of Chillán signed, this Saturday morning, a mutual collaboration agreement with Ñublense.
After this alliance, sealed by the mayor of Chillán, Camilo Benavente, and Francisco Mardones, manager of the Chillanejo club, which represents the city and the region in the First Division of Chilean Soccer, the club’s cadets, the players of the women’s team and up to the first team, will be able to use the municipal sports infrastructure for their training.
In turn, Ñublense will allow access to the stadium, for home matches, to 600 children from municipal schools and workshops, who will be part of the identity seal of the red fans.
“We are very happy regarding this agreement with our Chillán club, which is doing things well administratively and hopefully has sporting achievements. With this agreement, through our sports infrastructure we hope to promote the women’s area and young football of Ñublense, and fundamentally, so that everyone, with a lot of strength and fabric, can articulate actions so that the club does well and happy because we have enough common challenges,” stressed the mayor of Chillán, Camilo Benavente.
“This agreement that we resumed is very important, since the time we had it worked very well, 2022 was a campaign full of successes and we hope that it will be repeated this year with the signing of this agreement that has an important impact on the community.” that will be closer to the stadium and the bond that is formed between the club and the Municipality of Chillán that I think is very important for everyone,” concluded Francisco Mardones, manager of Ñublense.
The collaborative agreement also contemplates that the club will give 30 free season tickets to historical players of the club, which will be delivered by Mayor Camilo Benavente.
The Chilanejo cast will also support the municipality’s efforts to apply to host the next FIFA U-20 World Cup 2025 and will open the doors of the Paso Alejo Complex, so that the building entity can carry out sports or recreational activities, previously coordinated.
Finally, the Municipality of Chillán will allocate a space in the Nelson Oyarzún stadium for the club to exhibit its more than 100 years of history.
