Returning to her native land in Guadeloupe, the bubbly lieutenant Telumée Magloire must investigate the mysterious murder of a powerful industrialist. His hierarchy forces him to team up with a reservist police officer, an old lone wolf, the prickly Jean-Baptiste Lonteau, for whom the island has no secrets. When a second murder takes place, the two officers immerse themselves in the social reality of the island. Thanks to this investigation, they will lift the veil on mysterious secrets surrounding the volcano, Soufrière, where a worrying disappearance took place during its eruption. The duo of cops will discover that their investigation painfully resonates with their intimate and personal history.
