Refugio Amaro Lunaformer mayor of Yecapixtlawas murdered this Thursday on a soccer field located in the neighborhood Achilles Serdan.
According to reports, armed individuals broke into the site following a game and shot at those present.
The State Public Security Commission (CES) launched an operation to try to locate the aggressors, in which the military and elements of the National Guard participate.
The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) reported that four men died from these events, while the State Security Commission reported that between 10 and 11 people were injured.
Among the injured is Alberto Franco, a politician from the municipality of Atlatlahuacan.
