“The Musikhaus Doblinger in Vienna’s Dorotheergasse was opened in 1817 as a music lending establishment, more than 200 years ago. I’ve been employed here for 45 years now. I started in 1978 as an apprentice. At that time there was still an apprenticeship as a music dealer. When I When I started my training at the vocational school on Hütteldorfer Strasse, we were ten apprentices. Music dealers primarily sell sheet music, printed sheet music. Since the 1960s, however, we have also had a large range of books here in the shop.
