On the occasion of the last show at the Massey garden, the festival “La culture aux jardins” invited the Landes company Les Egalithes for a stroll with “Pignon sur rue”. It all started with the arrival in tandem of a captain (vocals, guitar and ukuleles) and a flight attendant (vocals). Both members of the storefront airline. The public followed them on a musical journey. Not hesitating to challenge walkers, they proposed a destination and a song in tandem.
From Argentina to Jordan via Tahiti and Honolulu, the two artists went through the four corners of the Massey garden and even took a ride in a horse-drawn carriage and another on the carousel.
From “Love on the beach” to “Leaving one day” via “Voyage, voyage” and “A vélo”, the captain and his hostess embarked the conquered public. Humor and harmony, an end as we like them.
Looking forward to next year for a new festival “La culture aux jardins”.
