The Georgia Guidestones, an enigmatic monument that attracted some 20,000 visitors each year to the United States, were destroyed following a bomb exploded in early July. All sorts of theories circulated regarding them.

The scene, captured by surveillance cameras, took place on July 6 in the early morning. We see an explosion seriously damaging the “Georgia Guidestones”, strange granite structures erected in 1980 in a field a few kilometers from Elberton, in the State of Georgia, in the United States. The damage forced the authorities to demolish the monument for safety reasons. The attack has not been claimed, and its perpetrator or perpetrators are still on the run – video shows a silver-colored sedan leaving the scene moments following the explosion, but no suspects have so far been apprehended. The mystery remains intact. At first glance, the case hardly seems to go beyond the stage of an anecdote, of a news item.
