The man was transported to the emergency room of the Saint-Pierre clinic, where the doctor on duty considered that the injury appeared to have been caused by a broken bottle.

The person concerned is 43 years old and lives in Louvain-la-Neuve. The police went to one of his acquaintances, aged 35, who said he had a heated discussion with the victim.

An investigating judge was seized of the case. The woman was placed under arrest for attempted murder.
