A mother found a dead 20-year-old woman wrapped in plastic in her son’s bedroom on Sunday in South Los Angeles on Wall Street.
Los Angeles police say the mother discovered the deceased woman around 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning when she smelled an abnormal smell of gas coming from her son’s bedroom, according to reports from the New York Post.
When she found the body, she immediately called emergency services.
The victim’s name is Hannah Rachel Collins, according to ABC 7. At this time, authorities are unable to confirm the cause of her death and how long she was in the room.
Currently, no arrests have been made, but the suspect is believed to be a 26-year-old man. The name of the suspect still remains unknown.
An investigation is underway.
