Manama: Nacho Food Products, which has made its own mark in the field of food products in Bahrain, has chosen Varghese Tarian for the first ever Farmers Shri award presented in the diaspora. Jesmi Hasit and Abita Sagheer bagged the second and third positions respectively. ICRF Chairman Dr. Babu Ramachandran presented the awards. He appreciated Nacho’s respect for agriculture and farmers. Competition Chief Judge Martin Wadughey reviewed the judging. He appreciated the dedication of the contestants towards agriculture.
Nacho Managing Director T.V. Santosh presided. He said Nacho’s duty is to provide quality food to the people. Many cultural figures in Bahrain were present on the occasion. Hosted by Benny Varghese, the event was welcomed by Nelson Varghese, members of the Kushamshree Awards technical team, and Pt. Joseph thanked him.
