Spain’s Rafael Nadal won the French Open title, “Roland Garros”, following defeating Norway’s Casper Ruud in the final, on Sunday, in a match that lasted two hours and 18 minutes.

Nadal controlled the match to win the match easily, 3-0 (6-3, 6-3, 6-0).

With this victory, Nadal won his 14th French Open title, “Roland Garros”, and 22nd in the “Grand Slam” tournaments, two titles ahead of his closest opponents, Novak Djokovic and Swiss Roger Federer.

Nadal, 36, became the oldest player to win the “Roland Garros” title, beating the record of his compatriot Andres Jimeno, who won the title at the age of 34.

At the general classification level, Nadal advanced one position to fourth place, while Norwegian Kasper Ruud advanced two positions to become sixth.
