Books – Wael Tawfik:
The artist, Nadia El-Gendy, announced her willingness to return to work in the coming period, through her page on the Instagram photo-sharing site.
And she wrote: “Praise be to God, we returned to Egypt safely, Muhammad Mukhtar and I in a beautiful evening, to meet the invitation of our dear friend, Dr. Harach, on the occasion of his birthday, every year and he is good and a thousand good and a happy year for him.”
And she added, “God willing, I am currently reading new business scenarios, and I will choose among them the best to present it next year, God willing, I wish you well.”
It is reported that the artist Nadia El-Gendy was honored in the first session of the Cairo Drama Festival, and she said: “My films, such as photography, life, and suffering, were a very difficult process. On the level, a very difficult story, worrying day and night.”
And she continued, “As for the Sukkar Ziyada series, I felt that I wanted to do a different thing, especially that I worked as a comedian in Five Doors, and Bono Bono, but this was a social comedy. I don’t want to work with anything.”
She added: “The Cairo Drama Festival, a very beautiful step, will give an opportunity to compete for good and purposeful works, and enrich drama and the artistic situation in Egypt, a very positive step. It should have been a drama festival, with a large and strong organization.”
