WASHINGTON (AP) — The astronauts who spent 371 days aboard the International Space Station have finally returned safely to Earth. NASA’s Frank Rubio and Russian cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitripetlin are back. All three landed in Kazakhstan in the Soyuz 23 spacecraft. Frank holds the record for the longest time spent on station by an American on a single mission. The trio had to spend 371 days in space to complete the 180-day mission. Soyuz 22, a spacecraft attached to the Russian side of the station, was found leaking following impacting space debris in December last year. They went to solve this.
