National News Agency – President of the Maronite League mourns Romeo Lahoud: A face from a sweet past that was absent on Independence Day

NNA – The head of the Maronite League, Ambassador Khalil Karam, mourned in a statement the great artist, Romeo Lahoud, recalling his pioneering works of art in which he honored Lebanon, reviving his national heritage with melody, word, voice and fashion. And “he is a member of a family distinguished by its culture and its literary, poetic, musical and journalistic presence. For decades, Romeo was one of the pioneers of the Lebanese musical theater that reached the world. We remember him as a generous face from a sweet past, absent on Independence Day, lamenting a homeland he loved and sang, declaring his permanent faith May God have mercy on him and grant his family patience and solace.”
