Vienna – On Tuesday, the Vienna Medical Association announced a tariff increase for Vienna contract doctors of ten percent in collective bargaining negotiations with the Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK). Vice President Kamaleyan-Schmied saw this as a “breakthrough” that meant a “strengthening” of the established area. The result now has to be approved by the ÖGK Board of Directors at the end of January.
